Small community-based coaching and tuition classes have been very popular as a supplement to school teaching for many years. Typically, teachers who are passionate about educating students also use it as a means of income for themselves.
The problem so far has been that these tuition teachers were not able to afford PCs, as a result of which they still had to rely on pen and paper and chalk and talk when teaching. We are creating a network of TeachToEarn Learning Centres by providing PCs at a subsidised rate of Rs. 10000 only, which include all the peripherals, including a webcam and a headphone, to these teachers, so they can now use technology to provide world-class education to their students !

We feel this model will help good tuition teachers get better, as they can leverage technology to help their students become self-directed learners ! They can use this to position themselves as providing a premium offering, for which they can charge more. And parents can hold them accountable and answerable because they are their neighbours and belong to the same community !
They are a far better alternative to the expensive, overcrowded commercial coaching classes, such as those run by Aakash, Allen, and PhysicsWallah, who run their classes in order to make money for their investors !
